GRAMMAR: The study of the way words are used to make sentences.Our class will be focused on the eight parts of speech.
Noun: A noun is a person , place , thing , or idea. We will be learning and dissecting ten diff rent types of nouns.
The 10 noun types we will be interacting with include the following list
common noun: A common noun names any unspecific person,place,or thing
EXAMPLE: I went to the park with some of my old friends today.
Material nouns: Material noun is a substance or an ingredient we can see or touch to make things.
EXAMPLE: We used a lot of ingredients to make ice cream such as milk,ice,salt,and cream.
Pronouns: A pronoun is a word that replaces a person,place, or thing.
EXAMPLE: He didn't want to give me stuff back in class
Abstract Nouns: an abstract noun is a word or idea you cant touch or feel, like feeling you can touch love or happiness.
EXAMPLE: I love to go to go to the Chinese restaurant and i always like to eat sushi there.
Concrete Nouns : concrete nouns are things that you can feel through sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch.
EXAMPLE: I think sushi tastes really good.
Collective Nouns: collective nouns are nouns were it stands for a group of people or things.
EXAMPLE: I was cleaning my room and i had a bunch of pencils in a cabinet.
Uncountable nouns: uncountable nouns are things that you can not count or divide do to it being a lot of things together or separated.
EXAMPLE: A of my garbage cans are full of garbage.
Uncountable nouns: Countable nouns are nouns that you can count.
EXAMPLE: I have a lot of pets at home i have 1cat,2rabbits,2 love birds,1 hamster
